Monday after Moscow

I’m going to keep this short. Moscow is 7000+ words...

I woke up at noon. Had a doctors appointment at 2 that I had to scramble to get to. I did have time to drop my Moscow film off on the way. I’ll be able to get that tomorrow. I’m very excited to see all the pictures!

Thomas was able to fix my back and teach me some physical therapy exercises to strengthen my neck and back... Basically I look like a dying whale while I do them, lying on the floor moving my arms like I’m swimming.

I went home, even though I had to back in the area for an MRI on my neck 3 hours later... and I would spend 2 hours getting home and back. But it was a better option than just walking around for 3 hours in a part of Prague that I don’t know well.

I headed off again after talking to Veronica. It took 36 minutes on the number 18 tram to get there... and then I got all turned around trying to find the hospital campus. I got directions from a Czech who spoke some English... And then asked a nurse on the campus who spoke no English. Her cadence of speech and the vocabulary I can understand ultimately got me to the correct place.

After the MRI, which I’m told is normal, I headed home, and had a pork dinner, of which I managed to land some of the white sauce in my lap... Damn.

The rest of my evening:

Laundry.

Blog (2 Moscow entries).

Bed by 3:30am.

By the way, I cooked those brownies the other week... I just felt compelled to share my cooking experiences... They ended up more cake like than brownie like, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers.
