A Crash Course in Prague
Forgot to Eat. Again.

So even though Wednesday ended at 5am Thursday morning, I still was up and moving at 10. I have class at 10:30.
That didn’t happen.
Instead I kept editing the video until 1:30pm before heading off to another one of the dorms that we have here in Prague, to tape some footage for the video.
Let me just say, that this building is beautiful, and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood too. This is not to say that I would trade Jaurisova for Machova (the dorm that I was taping), but they have a study lounge to kill for. It is on the top floor (like ours) except instead of looking at a hill with trees (like ours) it overlooks everything from the north, to south east portions of Prague. Quite the view.
After that I made it down to the NYU center to drop the camera as someone else (conveniently enough...) needed to use it for a class.
Things can be very frustrating over. At home I have access to any and all resources I need. Here, I have to stalk them as though they were prey, pounce, snatch the prey, and drag it back to my lair, where once there I have to protect it like a mother bear protecting her cubs.
Slightly dramatic, but you get the idea.
After dropping the camera off I went to have my back snapped back into place, of sorts. And then it was back to the NYU center to try and pick up the camera that I had just dropped off. But the professor was planning to take it home.
I damn near blew up. And instead of rolling over, I just told them what I was doing and told them to deal with it... With a little more sugar than that, yet still I was rather direct.
So it was back to home to finish editing. Around 10 I went downstairs to Veronika to have her take a look at it, and help me check for spelling.
How ironic that I go to the Slovak to help me check English spellings... Believe it or not, she can spell better than I. MUCH better. And between the two of us (95% her, 5% me) we were able to catch about 40 different spelling errors in the video. The best one was that I kept spelling “Prague” as “Prauge.”
Oops.
At any rate I saved, rendered, and exported the video to iDVD. Burned 6 copies of the DVD and distributed various copies to various individuals to ensure that the video would make it to the appropriate people.
While the DVD was burning I had the first real meal that I had eaten other than the piece of toast that I had at 10am... and it was just after 11pm.
Then I had to pack. And it was just after 1am. As you can tell by the time schedule it took me a while to take care of all these things. I packed, and went to bed at 2, with my alarm set for 5:20.
London tomorrow... If I can even move in the morning...
