30 Days ‘til Christmas

You know it’s almost Christmas when you see a 50 foot tree going up in the Old Town Square... The highlight of my day, for sure.

I also found IHOG (International House of Groceries), and was both elated and disappointed.

It’s a small hole in the wall.

But they had Oreo’s and Goldfish!

At $7 each.

Still bought them. And I’m enjoying every bite. It’s really the small things that you miss from time to time. But not so small is the 3 kilogram roast I ordered for the potluck this upcoming Sunday.

I don’t even want to talk about how much it cost. It’s imported meat though; hopefully it will be amazing.

I need to buy a meat thermometer though.

Anyways, Thanksgiving is Thursday. My folks will be down the Cape. Too bad I’m missing that. By the same token I’ll be able to say that I was in Prague for Thanksgiving... Which is pretty cool.

I did laundry today too. Nothing like clean underwear.

Maybe I’ll leave it on the counter and see if anyone notices...

And as a side note: I received an email from my boss with a photo of Billy and Monty (two tech’s at BZ) wearing suits and ties... In my honor.

I better get back so they don’t all start taking my trademark...
