A Crash Course in Prague
Finally Friday

To say that I accomplished nothing would be both a lie and the truth.
I did nothing in terms of getting my work done.
I did everything in terms of relaxing.
And it was beautiful.
I went food shopping (which isn’t really work this point, I came back, had some tea, and later wine. Two episodes of CSI were also on the menu, as was a movie.
Finally a techno dance party in my kitchen to top off the night.
I don’t know that it can get much better. Every is leaving soon so we’re savoring every moment that we can. It’s a very strange thing to think that in 14 days I’m going to be in the US. Eating from Wendy’s (which I think will even be a stop on the way home) followed by the largest piece of beef that Ted’s Montana Grill can cut.
Yet still, I will miss so much about this place, but more than anything, the people.
This experience would have been significantly less valuable without them. We have been called it for a while (but I’ve never mentioned it on the Blog) but this building, the 30 of us, are called “The Microcosm of Jaurisova Good Kids Companionship.” Everyone just calls us the Microcosm. And what a group of people I have had the privilege to live with over the last few months. We are already planning reunions at NYU for everyone to attend.
Microcosm Rides Together, Microcosm Dies Together.
Anyways. Enough reminiscing before I leave...
