A Crash Course in Prague
It Hath Arrive...
It’s finally here. Only a handful of things more to put in my suitcase, which by the way, I am quite proud of. Yesterday’s packing went smoother than expected, and with any luck the bag will weigh 49lbs, 15oz. We’ll have to see about that.
Hopefully security won’t be too much of a nightmare, but I do have 28 rolls of film that have to be hand inspected... and carry on full of electronics. Yesterday’s project, after getting my hair cut by an American stylist, was to find “rubbers.” Not the kind you find at CVS... The kind you find at a shoe store that goes over your dress shoes so you don’t get your feet wet. It is quite comical to call a shoe store and ask for rubbers, because even they don’t understand what you are looking for.
Next time I write here I’ll be sitting in the Czech Republic. Pretty exciting. Those of you who know me well are aware that my first excursion into the city will more than likely to be find goose down pillows. Something else I’m really excited about: buying my first Czech extension cord.
