The First Night

This is a photo of the Czech television complex at night, in the 3 seconds I had to shoot it while walking by. This afternoon we went to the restaurant down the street (less than half a block away) and cut thru the thick smoke to have our first drink in the Czech Republic. And for 85 crowns we got 2 beers (for Jack and Mike) and a glass of wine for me. That’s 5 bucks.

We changed and went out to the dinner at a local pizza place. After food, Krista, her boyfriend, and myself walked around for a little while before hopping the tram and making our way back home.

Tomorrow we begin other activities at 10am... namely going to see the old town square and the NYU center. With any luck it will be a great day, and I’ll have some pictures to share.

For now, I’m going to find the shower, and then my bed. I’ve got all of 2 or so hours sleep since 7am Friday morning, now almost 4 Saturday afternoon to my body... But at least the sun will help my time shift. I should be fine tomorrow.
