A Frustrating Day

Today is the first day since I’ve been here that I’ve been frustrated that I wasn’t at home. I was working on a forum for 6 hours. 6 hours for an 800 word post! All the resources I needed were at home in my bookcase. I knew exactly where. I knew exactly which books, and around what chapters.

Special thanks to Mom and Dad. They helped pull together some of the stuff I needed and scanned it for me. I don’t miss home, but I sure miss my extensive access to resources.

So then I had dinner. Yes I worked on the forum for so long that it was actually dinner time. No surprise here, it was pork. I think I’m going to try and find some Chinese food for tomorrow night! I’m dying for wonton soup.

After dinner it was back to homework. And reading. And more reading. I read for so long that by the time I sat down to post this it was nearly 2am and the network had just crashed again.

This is becoming a daily occurrence. And I’m not happy about it. I’m this close (imagine two fingers about a centimeter apart) to going out and getting a wireless broadband card. This close (imagine again).

Tons of work to do today. Dry cleaners, homework, grocery shopping, and find a haircut.

I’m still scared of this whole haircut thing. I could always just let Lenka cut my hair. At least then I know what I’m getting...

Maybe not.

By the way the picture at the top is from last Thursday... It’s very Harry Potter-esque, so I’ve heard. It’s called the golden lane and it’s all these small buildings attached to the castle wall. Pretty cool!
