A Crash Course in Prague
Absentee Ballot Day!

I’ve been so busy making preparations for Jessica’s arrival on Friday morning, working on midterms, recovering from Russia, and getting ready to go to Rome on Monday, that I forgot to mention yesterday that I received my absentee ballot!
It’s slightly less anticlimactic marking it on my desk in Prague, but I still was able to cast my vote. I’m dropping it in the mail tomorrow so it can be counted on time.
Otherwise today went pretty well. I worked on a large amount of homework, sent out about a dozen emails (mostly responding to the ones I missed while in Russia), and had a great steak dinner after class.
YES, that’s right, a Steak Dinner!
It was an imported piece of beef that was extremely tender and flavorful at an Italian place in the Old Town. I can’t say it was the best piece of beef that I’ve ever had, but it was still really good. Especially considering it was the first steak that I’ve had in 2 months. The wine was also quite good.
This evening after dinner I worked on my midterm for A&A, and tried to book my train tickets to Florence... Tried... I’m still working to get it booked properly. I’ll fix that tomorrow.
