Crazy for a Wednesday

For some reason today was crazier than it should have been. It started rather early so I could go get tickets to this Sunday’s Advent concert. So after the night ended late, around 4, I was up around 8:30. Maybe 8:36 because I was moving slowly.

After tickets, I went for breakfast. OJ and a croissant were on the menu.

And from there it was 45 minutes away to pick up some paperwork from a doctor across Prague that I saw in early October. I was also getting a partial refund of my deposit. So a tram, subway, and bus later, I picked up my paperwork and about 15 bucks. FIFTEEN dollars! I suppose I am now 15 more than I originally had... But then there was an hour ride back home. So it was a two hour round trip for $15. Good thing my transportation pass is unlimited.

When I arrived home I took time to work on some minor projects, relax, and then at 4, take an hour nap.

It was a good nap.

Class was relatively normal. Nothing too crazy to report.

But now comes the crazy part: the amount of stuff I need to accomplish over the next, say 8, days. It’s stupefying.

So I think I’ll just keep my head down and keep working.

Oh right... Before class I stopped into an art gallery to buy a painting that I’ve fallen in love with this semester... but at 320,000Kc ($16,000) I opted for the 50$ print.

SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS! Too bad the doctor didn’t have that kind of refund for me.

And Mom and Dad just laughed when I asked if I could borrow 16 grand to buy a painting. At least I tried.
