A Crash Course in Prague
Running All Over
As days go, today was rather busy.
We hit the National Gallery in the morning, followed by lunch, then drifting south to Vyšehrad, and then further into Nusle.
Vyšehrad was cold, but good to visit one last time. The photo at the top is of the family along the top of the walls.
While we were in Nusle we picked up some groceries, which , as always, is an experience; but we made it through. On the way back to the apartment I picked up the meat I had ordered for Christmas dinner (really Christmas Eve dinner).
So by the time we arrived back at the apartment it was 6:30 and we were all hungry, so it was back out and over the river to have dinner at a small cafe.
I opted to lay low tonight as it had been a busy day. Christmas is tomorrow, at least for the Czech’s, which means the city will be virtually shutting down at 7pm... Should be interesting to see.
